Today we had baby boy's two month check up. He was a cheerful little patient, and the exam went off without a hitch. He weighs 13.6lb and is 23 1/4 inches long. He's in the 86th percentile for weight and 62nd percentile for length. Yep- he's a big boy ;)
Since he is now two months old, it was also time for his first set of shots *gulp*. He received three shots in his legs and one vaccine was given orally. Poor buddy! He cried, of course, but once it was over he was easily consoled. Worst day ever (that he can remember).
We've been home for a few hours now, and he's sleeping like a champ. Feel better soon, little buddy!

Shots stink. I'm not sure whether it's worse for Baby or Mommy. This is why it became Philip's job to take Miss Lili to all her well baby check-ups for the first two years. My nerves just wouldn't take it any more. ;)
He looks like a healthy, happy camper otherwise. Glad those 2 month immunizations are over!
